Beyond its design excellence, Design House Australia will also serve a broader purpose: to highlight the importance of preserving Australia’s historic architecture, particularly our grand hospitality venues and heritage homes. With this in mind, part or all of the interiors created for our showhouses will remain intact after each event, enabling the hosting venue or hotel to continue using the newly designed spaces for commercial purposes. It’s a celebration not only of design, but of legacy, longevity, and heritage preservation.
